2021 Grants

The foundation gifted $342,571 in Clark and Cowlitz counties in 2021 in line with their vision & mission statement. Due to COVID restrictions Executive Director Kay Dalke-Sheadel was unable to present grant checks to these organizations in person this year:


Education total: $118,358

Kelso High School

$14,358 to be used to purchase Realcare Babies


Lower Columbia College Foundation


$20,000 to be used for scholarships, tuition and fees.

$10,000 to be used as matching funds for 2021 YES! program.


Stella Historical Society


$2,000 to be used for Blacksmithing Scholarships.


Lighthouse Resource Center


$25,000 to be used for financial education and counseling.


Cascadia Technical Academy


$5,000 to be used as matching funds for flight simulators.

$10,000 to be used to develop STEM program.

$12,000 to be used for trailer, taxes, licensing.

$10,000 to be used for open garden learning for students.
